I've had achilles heel tedenitis since June of 2000. I have done stretching exercises, had therapy and am stillin pain. The back and side of my heel is swollen and I find wearing shoes withut a heel s more comfortable. The podiatrist said it takes time. But seven months seems like an eternity, expecially when the pain can be unbearable at times. Can you suggest an alternative therapy or am I being impatient with the healing process. I also had a spur on the bottom of the heel, but that seems to be better. Thank you
