extreme pain in left arm

Three months ago I had a rather large right-brain stroke. I have left neglect, but I am combating it well; however, I now have extreme pain in my left arm and cannot do exercises to overcome the left neglect. My wife also has pain in the same area. We think that it is probably a pinched nerve. I would appreciate your telling me what chiropractic therapy could do for me. Also, it seems since the stroke affected my neurons that a chiropractor would be beneficial. Am I correct? My prognosis is for complete recovery. I am 54 years old, and this was a shock for my entire family. I've had no apparent health problems before this. Please help us.
