: : : I play in a flag football league and I bruised my ribs back in September and they are still quite sore. How long does it generally take for bruised ribs to heal. I went to the er in october and was instructed to take 800 mgs of ibuprofen. However I still have to work. The work I do is not all that physical, but I just want the pain to go away. I can't work out. or even run for a bus ! please advise.

: : I fell this morning and hit the right side of rib cage. Other than ibuprophen is there anything else to ease the pain and speed healing?

: I also fell on the stairs and hit my left side connecting both front and back ribcages. It hurts when I twist or bend. Is this a sign of something is wrong? How do I get the pain to go away?
