: I am a 24 year old man that has detiration of the 6th-9th thoracic spine. I had NO back problems before. I have muscle spasm's as well. I take Ibuprofen 600 mg for the pain and Tramadol (50) for the spasm's.I was just wondering if there's anything you can do differetly for scheuermann's disease? If so, please email me. Thanks

I am 44yrs. I've had Scheuermanns since a child
I,ve found by reducing stress in my life, walking daily, attending a gym three times a week this helps to keep the pain at bay. When I start to feel the pain creeping back i take Celebrix for three to four days and have some phsio this normally gets my symtom under control. However I feel my symtom get majorlly worse with stress this bring on alot of nerve pain. So the exercise helps not only my back but the stress side as well.My 12yr old son was diagnosed with this disease this week. Well good luck with managing your pain.
