My mother, age 88, has a hairline crack in her peliv bone. The doctor said no treatment is necessary. Just use the walker until it heals. It happened on a Tuesday when she fell and didn't go into the hospital until Thursday. She stayed until Sunday when the read the MRI and sent her home. Does this treatment sound right?

Thank you.

Helps strengthen the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the under surface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q-angle).
