upper back pain and numbness

I have had upper back pain for years! Now it has gotten so bad it is constantly hurting, burning and throbing. I take advil and it doesn't do anything. My upper right side (in between my spine and shoulder blade is the worst) I have lost feeling in my skin over the section that hurts the worst. Please help...
I don't know what type of Dr. I even need to see.
