Probably segmental joint dysfunction. This means the joints are stuck and not moving correctly. This in turn causes nerve irritation, which in turn causes muscle tightness and pain. Go see a chiropractor to correct this problem. Also, they can check and rule out some of the other conditions that can cause middle back pain.
