Re: MY HIP PAIN

I too have had hip pain (only on my left side) for well over 8 years now. It has gotten progressively worse, particularly at night. I have been premedicating before going to bed by taking 600 mg. ibuprofen. This helps until you are about 4-5 hours into the night and then I get awakened to a throbbing, searing pain on my left side. It has even started to progress down the outside of my leg at night. As with you, once I am up and around, the pain subsides. However, I am finding that it does not take much to start feeling that characteristic "achiness" if I have been standing or sitting too long. I don't know what else to do. It is interfering with my sleep and I can't keep taking anti-inflammatories nightly. Help!!!
