Dear Crackergirl,

I am an orthopedic surgeon and also dabble in osteology. The symptoms you described are possibly indicative of bonephoma. This a little known and rare, rare condition. Attached is a photograph of a young boy who died as a result of untreated bonephoma. Please, see your doctor at once.
