Lump mid-way down spine

The lump I have recently noticed is hard like bone.I have been having back pain recently that is unexplained.I have a desk job but am regulaly active. My wife is an massage therapist and recently noticed the lump the size of a quarter.Directly on the spine.Possibly out of allignment?Does not hurt to touch. But I do have some achey soreness in that area.Wondering what I should do to look into it. Chiropractor or my normal physician to start.

The Achillotrain has a viscoelastic heel-wedge to raise the heel for relief of Achilles tendon. A silicone insert on the back of the Achillotrain leaves tendon pressure-free and provides intermittent compression for the reduction of swelling and edema.
