my niece was hit by pickup truck crossing a pedestrian walk(MVA) last week- initially diagnosed with broken pelvis in 4 places ---now 1 wk later -is told she has "rotated pelvis along with the breaks"- and that no surgery is scheduled? Is this appropriate treatment ---for such a case - and does the pelvis heal on its own?
