Sprained/pulled muscle in pointer finger...

I think i might have either sprained or pulled a muscle in my finger (is that even possible?). My husband and i were wrestling around and he went to do a fun body slam on my belly, and i kept my pointer finger up in the air, when, SLAM, he fell ontop of it - i didn't hear it snap, but i think it got bent back really far, and now a month later, i still can't bend it to touch my hand like the rest of my fingers, it hurts alot too! And i can't push with it either. Could you give me some feedback on what might have happened and what i could possibly do to heal it? Thanks!

The Simply Stable HXt hyperextension elbow brace is designed to stabilize the elbow by helping to control extension and rotation. Stabilization is accomplished through a unique design that incorporates dual polycentric hinges into a functional Neoprene sleeve.
