fracture humerous ,87yrs hemiparesis

My father, aged 87yrs, with DM and Left hemiparesis for 1yrs and 9 months and bed ridden, have broken left humerous 3days ago during passive turning in bed . Orthopaedist adviced functional bracing for fracture spiral mid shaft of humerous but we cannot find it so he used U cast . The x-ray showed osteoporosis. I would like to know what does the appropiate management for my father? What type of functional bracing for my father? Where can I get it?
Thank you for your advices.

Inflated aircells offer comfort and graduated compression with its therapeutic benefits. Worn with a laced shoe, the Air-Stirrup restricts inversion/eversion and permits normal flexion.
