daughter shattered her right clavical.

The ER used a figure 8 device/splinted her arm. She is in alot of pain, unable to sleep. We saw our fam doc 2day. He calld ortho doc about possible shoulder displacement/bone frags not forming 2gether. Recommend go to ER next County/have Ortho doc C her asap. ER re xray'd showing bones, obvious gaps btween. Informed us it would take 6-8 weeks to heal, form knots, and would not heal properly. Possible she will have to have it rebroke/endure surgery later date. If they know this now. Why are they not correcting it now? Can they not go ahead and do surgery to prevent complications in the future? Is there a surgery that is performed on clavicals in the early stages? My daughter is 13 yrs old. Are there any other options that we have?
