bilateral foot drop

DEAR SIR/ MADAM.
I HAVE BILATERAL DROPPED FOOT AFTER BEING SHOT IN THE LEGS WITH A SHOT GUN AT POINT BLANK RANGE 4 YEARS AGO AND THE SPLINTS THE N.H.S PROVIDED ME WITH ARE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND THAT IS PUTTING IT MILDLY THE ARE VERY PAINFUL TO WALK IN EVEN WITH THE AIDS OF MY CRUTCHES MOST OF THE TIME I WOULD JUST NOT RATHER WALK BUT MY ORTHOPAEDIC WAS TELLING OF SOME ADVANCES MADE IN SPLINTS AND I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR YOU HELP IN THIS AREA AND ANY SUGGESTIONS THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE.
