tibia stress fracture

I had very bad leg pain for 8 weeks finally went and had a bone scan yes it was a tibia stress fracture. did no weight bearing for 4 weeks. have taken it easy no runing or jumping. it has been 4 weeks since i've been on crutches. the past couple of days were the bone was tender has swollen and has fluid my leg hurts
again. i never seen an ortho. SHOULD I OR JUST REST AGAIN WITH CRUTCHES. THE SWELLING MAKES IT HURT
