Support for neck and back

Hi:

I am posting this query on behalf of my mom. She has cancer for the past 13 years - breast cancer metastasized to the entire skeletal systems. Now, she has developed secondaries in the cervical spine too. Five days back, she had a fall and sustained a left humerus fracture which actually warranted open reduction, but given her present state of health the docs refused to do that. Given the spread of her disease to the cervical spine, the docs have recommended restricted movement of the neck. She needs full support for mobility, even to get up from bed.

In the light of the scenario described above, I would like to know if there is a system which can provide proper support to her neck and back to aid her mobility. Right now, at least 2 people are needed to help her sit up. I feel this is quite risky given the extent of metastasis and that her bones are getting more and more fragile.

Please help.

Knitted ankle support incorporating an anatomically contoured silicone insert lying posterior to the medial and lateral malleolus and over the front of the foot. Used to reduce swelling and soreness.
