Repair information

My Mothre's leg brace is in need of some minor repair and the place it was made is no longer in business and all of the places I called will not repair a brace made by someone else. It is a full leg brace with a locking device at the knee. My mother had polio as an infant and started wearing the brace about 5 years ago. Hope you can lead me in the right direction. I live in northern New Jersey. Thanksw

Helps strengthen the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the under surface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q-angle).
