Broken right humerus
I broke my right humerus on the 11th of august 07. I did this arm wrestling and feel so embarrassed about it even though I was winning, so i tell people I fell and landed on my right arm. anyways, i was rushed to the emergency room because of the pain. this happened in north Carolina and I had to drive home to Columbia SC the next day by myself. never thought I would dread making left turns in my lifetime.

I was put in a sling for a 1 1/2 weeks but the bones were not re-aligning so I had surgery ( plate and screws). its been a week and three days since and I feel way better. My arm feels firm and I can actually lift it up sideways even though I still have a sling on. was told it will take six weeks to heal properly. anyone had similar surgery?
