Re: Broken Sesamoid Bone

I broke my sesamoid bone in my left foot four years ago. I eventually had it removed after boots and lots of other forms of trying to mend it. I am still experiencing pain to this day. I went through a long while of physical therapy and anything that could happen after the surgery, did. I had tendonitis in my ankle and foot due to the long wearing of the boot, tore a tendon, a large amount of scar tissue build up,morton's neuromas and some other things... There really isn't anything more that they can do. I am not walking correctly thus my gait is completely off.
NOw, I am experiencing pain in my right foot, same area. I am hoping it isn't broken. I will be heading to the dr on Monday.

Anyway, I am back to exercising but am only really allowed to use the elliptical and bike. I still have pain, but at this point it is apart of my life. Good luck to all who have it removed!
