Re: Broken left humerus

I broke my humerus and my elbow in JULY 2007, I was in Spain at the time and their normal procedure is surgery, since having the plates and screws inserted I was able to use my arm and bend my elbow with help of physio, I stopped seeing Physio in October when i had reached about 95% movement again!

My last x-ray 5/12/07 still showed that my elbow was not healing and was still broken although the humerus was healing perfectly! so thats been 8-9 months so far, and the bone has not grown in elbow!

I have to admit I am glad I got surgery as I could feel relief and less pain nearly immediately after operation!

The Achillotrain has a viscoelastic heel-wedge to raise the heel for relief of Achilles tendon. A silicone insert on the back of the Achillotrain leaves tendon pressure-free and provides intermittent compression for the reduction of swelling and edema.
