AVN wrongly diagnosed as Bone TB

Hi experts,
I had this severe pain last October in my hip joint. I consulted an ortho, who suggested an MRI. Now after the MRI he suggested that I had Bone TB and he gave me the treatment of the same. For 8 long months I kept taking the medicines prescribed by him but no improvement was seen. Weight Bearing was very painful and I used to get morning stiffness.(It used to take me more than 30 minutes to come out of stiffness).
Then I consulted another Ortho who suggested that I did not have Bone TB rather it was AVN. And that because of this delay of 8 months it had got spread over the other hip joint as well. He suggested "Core Decompression" of either of my hip joints, which I underwent.
Now I have two questions to ask:
1. The anti TB treatment that I had been taking for 8 months, will it have some side effects (or negative effects on my body)?
2. How successful is the "Core Decompression" on AVN (I was at stage 2B of AVN).
Also this "Core Decompression" was done in the month of June when it is hot in India. But now in the month of November, it rather gets cold, and for last 3 months I didnot have much pain but with the cold increasing, I have started getting more and more pain. Is it because of the weather?
I will appreciate your efforts in clearing my doubts.

Thanks once again

Helps strengthen the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the under surface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q-angle).
