Black and Blue Big Toes

I have a problem!!! I took a month off from work for my wedding and when I came back to work, wearing the same shoes to work that I wore before I was married, My big toenails turned black and blue. I really don't know if they are going to fall off, or if its something other than bruising. I had pains in my feet the first week I was back to work and I think that it's just bruising. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the bruising or to insure that they don't fall off? Please help!!!
