Re: 5th metattarsel bone-slow healing.........

: I broke my 5th metatarsel bone in the summer, I have been in a walking cast for months...anyelse else have a delayed healing?

: Thanks

yes. i had the same problem, i was in a cast for nine months and then i had a bone graft surgery with a screw put in.
Now, a year and a half later, my screw is bothering. The many doctors i have gone to have told me this injury does indeed take a long time to heel. Believe me, you as well as i know, it does!
