Prevent supination

I am a runner and have a high degree of supination in my feet, which wears my shoes quickly. I already use full shoe inserts, but I was wondering if there was a product and if not I wanted to make one out of another sole to place in my shoe. In order to prevent my knee from discomfort of pain from prior injury. If I want to make a small insert where would I place it in my shoe the inner or outer side maybe? Please help me alleviate my supination problem. Thank you for your time, Elizabeth
