Fourth toe pain

I have a constant pain in my fourth toe (the second to smallest). I have had this before. I started using an eliptical trainer a week ago. I think it could be my sciatic nerve, but my leg isn't hurting. I have pain in my hip muscle.
Is there something I can do to stretch so to fix this? I am not sure if it matters, but I have been a type 1 diabetic for 27 years. I do not have any sores on my feet.
Thank you for your time.

A silicone insert on the back of the Achillotrain leaves tendon pressure-free and provides intermittent compression for the reduction of swelling and edema.
