toe nails

I had surgery for a dislocating peroneal tendon on my left ankle in October. In late February we took a trip to Disney & Universal. Needless to say we did quite a bit of walking. One day we were on the go for 14 hours straight. That night when I took my sneakers off (slip on sketchers) my toes hurt. I just chalked it up to all of the walking.
A week or so later a couple of the toe nails started bruising underneath the nail. The big toe on surgery foot and the second toe on the other foot. (Also my 2nd toes are longer that my big toe). I mentioned this to my doctor when I went for a recheck post surgery. He thought it was okay.

Now over 2 months later my 2nd toe's nail has come off. A new one is growing back but it seems bumpy.
The surgery foots big toe nail is now coming off. It is only holding on by one side of the toe. Underneath the toe it looks bruised & weird. There does not look like a nail growing underneath.

I am going to my doctor tomorrow. Any thoughts??

Thank You

Sorry for being so long winded!
