Pain in bottoms of feet

The bottoms of my feet hurt when I get up in the morning. I have to hobble to the bathroom and they hurt for the first 10 minutes of getting out of bed. The pain runs from the ball of the foot through the arch to the heel. This started about 3 months ago. I don't have Diabetes. I'm thinking it could be a side effect of Lamictal that my doctor gave me for back pain and depression or Melatonin. I've had fallen arches all my life but this foot pain just started. I'm also 20 lbs over my ideal weight. My husband says that my feet are not used to carrying this extra weight and they're complaining.
