What you have is hand/foot syndrome, it has a fancy medical term that means the same thing. The problem is that a little Chemo is leaking out of the small blood vessels in the toes, result feels like serious sunburn and acts like it also. You MUST protect your toes from bumps and scrapes because they are fragile while you are in Chemo. Think of it as a serious sunburn and treat accordingly. NO alcohol based skin creams.
