Re: painfull Morton Neuroma

: I have two mortons neuroma's in both feet and have had pain for 2 years now, the pain is getting unbeareble, The treatment started with Cortisone injections, then foot orthotics with matatarsal support. I cannot run and have pain walking. daily intense pain in the feet is how I would describe my ordeal. Am contemplating surgery.. Anybody who have had a surgery please help !!

: 1) Would you say there is a huge relief after surgery ?

: 2) How do doctors actually look at the size/location of the neuromas ...MRI/Ultrasound ??

: 3) After the neuroma's are removed do you loose sensation in corresponding toes.

: 4) on this page I have seen some people complain of pain even after surgery. Why is that, is the recovery not complete, does the neuroma grow back ?

: Please point me to important links that were usefull to you

Ankle braces go on fast and the athlete does the applying so there is no waiting in line to be taped. Valuable trainer and coach time is saved when taping is eliminated.
