Comments:: Dear Dr. : I have been having a tingly itch sensation that travels in a distinct line from the outside of my ankle down into the sole of the foot. It has been waking me up at night incessantly. Athletes foot has been ruled out by derm Dr. Topical numbing, cortisone, antihistamine do not stop the itch. What has worked is taking aleve twice a day for weeks at a time. I have a history of low back problems. Could this be a pinched nerve problem? what kind of Dr. could help me fix this so I don't have to be on aleve all the time? : Thanks, : Kate
