I was diagnosed with diabetes four years ago and in October of last year I started having pain in my in my knee. I fially got an appt. with an orthopedic surgeon and he gave a shot of cortisone. The pain is now back and he felt that I needed to see a nuerosurgeon. I'm waiting for a phone call, but the pain is sometimes so bad.
