A Knee Spur?

I've been trying to get in shape lately by periodically takeing short jogs in my neighborhood. Withing th past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing some minor pain below my right knee. At first it would be sore for a day or two, only after a good workout. Now I've noticed that there seems to be a large bump about an inch below my knee. At first I thought it might be some type of bone spur that my tendons or ligaments are rubbing over, therefore causeing the pain. I'm rested it for a time, but the bump seems to never leave.

Any ideas?

Mahalo!
