torn SHORT head bicep attachment (proximal)

Does anyone out there have experience with a torn short head biceps. seems all the links and literature relate to a long head tear I am becoming near expert on long head bicep ruptures but hav seen nothing on short head tears/ruptures. Ineed to know because I have suffered a short head tear, also if anyone out there knows what would cause a torn or ruptured muscle to have minor pain and no swelling for ten days and then suddenly erupt with extreme swelling and bruising at the ten day mark despite near complete inactivity and immobilization for that ten day period.
