hi,my son neil had surgery on his broken kneecap,where it was wired to help reset the bone.he as started physeo a week ago and as been doing lots of exersizes to try to rebuild wasted muscle above and below the knee.he is having problems bending his knee any more than 70 degrees and still has some swelling on the knee,but not fluid.have you any idea what this swelling is,it feels hard and the skin feels tight.would you say the progress he is making is normal,he still uses his crutches,although he can put about 75 percent of weight on his leg.could you suggest any exersizes that will help speed up his recovery.i would be gratefull for any advice you could give him.A HARRIS.
