Re: strained back rib? help!

I sometimes have back "rib pain" spasms which lasts about 7 to 10 days
I have tried ice heat ibprophen muscle relax etc.
Nothing but time seems to work. Very uncomforable to say the least. Most of the time they come from twisting (excecises or dance)or just twisting around in car
Is there a surgery to "release this muscle" at this point I would even go through surgery If I knew it would help in the long run
