Your hamstrings are probably lit up. Hamstring stretch like crazy, long hold, no bounce. There's a nifty little unit out there that probably cost 5 bucks to make but they sell it for 150 that is just a built up place to put your foot sitting on a long flat piece with two straps. You cinch your knee down and let it stretch. It's not comfortable.
You could try some patella mobs, wiggle your knee cap, to make sure it's not tight. Strengthen your quads.
