chest tightness

I pulled my right pectoral muscle while using the bench press about three weeks ago. I stopped working out my chest for 2 weeks and then I decided to ease back into working out my chest. After the first workout, i started feeling a tightness in my chest, mostly in the center. I have anti-inflammatory medicine but it hasn't done that much for me. Is this something that should subside over time, or is there anything I can do to help/heal the problem?

Indications: knee strains or sprains, chondromalacia, Osgood Schlatter's Disease (adolescent knee syndrome), swelling and edema of the knee, ligament instability, knee instability, recurrent knee pain, arthritis, degenerative joint disease.
