Dent in Quad Muscle

I recently noticed that I developed a "dent" in my right quad, about six inches above my knee, on the anterior side of my leg. I am not feeling any pain or swelling, and it doesn't bother me at all. I used to be quite active, but recently had a baby in four months ago. I am not sedentary, but could this be muscle atrophy? Any help would be appreciated.

The BioSkin Hinged Knee Skin is the lightest hinge available. The bicentric aluminum alloy hinge is offset to eliminate pressure at the joint line.
