I would definately rest this. I would ice the biceps area, and perform gentle stretching to the biceps. I would return to light resistance curls when they can be performed without pain. This should be somewhere between 2 and 6 wks, depending on how badly you injured it. Increase slowly as tolerated. You can contract it isometrically now, as hard as you can without pain, if it can be done WITHOUT pain.
